It is difficult to believe that not a mention can be found on the artist, Emma Nardsig, via the Internet. This artist worked at the beginning of the nineteenth century in watercolor and paper cut. She was apparently an acquaintance of the writer and critic Georg Brocher who wrote for the Studio Magazine out of London. Brochner assembled art for his Golden Book and a watercolor and paper cut by Nardsig were included among hundreds of original works of art. Nardsig annotated her watercolor: In Remembrance.
