Selma Cohen Bluestein was born March 5, 1914. She grew up and attended school at the anarchist-founded Ferrer Colony at Stelton, New Jersey. She lived with artist/anarchist Abe Bluestein for many years; they married as grandparents to secure their right to Social Security. Selma died in Croton-On-Hudson, New York in July of 1985.
