Daniel Voitek, born January 12, 1933, was apparently a student of Atelier 17 printmaker Cathal O'Toole while O'Toole was teaching at Wilkes College from 1950 to 1959 (now Wilkes University) in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. While at Wilkes he also worked in theater as a set designer. Voitek attended the school of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and was awarded an honorable mention in the student exhibition of 1959. He died on February 11, 2023.
