Malcolm Cameron was born on September 2, 1902 in Redlands, California
He attended the California Institute of Technology. After graduating from Cornell University with a degree in architecture. Cameron apprenticed in an architectural office in NYC in 1927-28 and then moved to Los Angeles. Always in love with drawing he began as well as doing some printmaking, using the mediums of drypoint and lithography.
In 1945 he settled in Bonsall, CA, San Diego County, California by more lithographs, book illustration and working in sculpture. In 1962 he and his wife, who was also a sculptor, moved to Shaw Island in the San Juans of Washington where they made their home and he continued to work.
Malcolm Cameron died in Shaw Island, San Juan, Washington, USA on March 8 of 1975.
