Jean Felix Marius Zephirin Belliard, known as Zéphirin Belliard, was born in Marseille, France on February 16, 1798. He worked as a lithographer, specializing in portraits of personalities, primarily done from paintings by others. He worked with publisher/printer Francois Séraphin Delpach (1778-1825). Belliard was a friend of Honoré Daumier's father, who sent his son to learn lithography in Belliard's studio.
Belliard died on March 28, 1871 in Aix-en-Provence, France.
