Painter, printmaker, and multi-media artist Robilee Frederick was born in Evansville, Indiana, in 1931. Frederick studied music and art, taking piano instruction at Julliard and the New England Conservatory of Music, and pursuing art at Wellesley College (MA) and later at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, CA. Her work is included in numerous private collections as well as the public collections of the Achenbach Foundation for the Graphic Arts at the Fine Arts Museum, San Francsico; Di Rosa Preserve, Napa, CA; Hess Collections of Bern, Switzerland, Napa, CA, and Colomé, Argentina; among many others. She continues to work from her studio in Napa County, California.
