Painter, printmaker, and bookmaker Deborah Frederick (1934-2004) earned her MFA at Rochester Institute of Technology. The Kentucky-based artist went on to teach as an Associate Professor of Art at the University of Kentucky, Lexington for 30 years before retiring to Portland, Maine. Frederick was a member of the Women's Studio Workshop in New York.
