Very little is found on the career of printmaker Marianne Hartnett. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 11, 1931. She earned her B.S. in Political Science and Government from Bryn Mawr College and Northwest University in 1953, and her MFA in Printmaking and Photography from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
