Description
Baltimore born William Anderson Sherwood was living in Manhattan, New York before leaving for Bruges, Belgium where he spent the rest of his life. While in New York he made a number of large, architectural etchings in subtle colors, such as this view of City Hall from the park. His American prints appear to be quite rare.
