This printer's proof is from the collection of one of the printers, Robert Caprio. It is one from the set of 115 unsigned screenprints in color. Published and printed by Harry N. Abrams, Inc and Ives Sillman, Inc. 1972.

The "Formulation: Articulation" series is a rare portfolio spanning forty years of Albers's best work, selected by the artist himself. Each silkscreen depicts many of the artist's main concerns in art creation, including perception of color and spatial geometry. Printed on Mohawk superfine paper by Harry N. Abrams and Ives-Sillman, the portfolio was considered a technical achievement in printing quality.
