This is from a series of woodcuts illustrating the processes of paper making by hand from "Les Moulins a Papier." Here two men are working with a barrel of pulp--one man is stirring the paper pulp and the other is forming a sheet of paper on a mould, allowing the excess water to flow back into the barrel.
