Description
A charming watercolor in miniature after the Belle Epoch advertisment for Lessive Flamande, a Belgian cleaning detergent, originally designed around 1890 by Emanuel Stanek (French: 1862 - 1920). After retiring from the French Navy, Count Regley de Koenigsegg - who had pursued art in his youth before entering the military - took up watercolor painting and carefully recreated several dozen Belle Epoch posters at around 1/16th the original size.
