Description
Paul Burty Haviland (1880 - 1950) was a French-American photographer, writer, and arts-critic. A faithful ally of Alfred Stieglitz in his struggle for the acknowledgment of photography and modern art, he himself left a body of high quality photographic works yet to be widely published and essentially composed of portraits, nudes and cityscapes.
