Description
Sculptor Steve Kaltenbach, according to Thomas Albright, "...developed a technique in which several identical color photographs, usually of landscape, were cut into intricate patterns and then 'rewoven' to recreate the original image, on which the patterns were superimposed in low relief." He did not make many of these remarkable works.
