Description
This color etching is of a building at night in Montparnasse, located on the left bank of the river Seine in Paris. Montparnasse was the center of intellectual and artistic life in early 20th century Paris until World War II. Rigal, as so many artists have, found his inspiration in the architecture of old Paris.
