De Vedder was a Flemish painter. This etching by Hollar is after his work - a sweeping Dutch landscape with a hunter and his dog in the foreground. The verso of this print has the hand inscribed collector's signature/mark of Lenormand de Coudray (1712 - 1789), Lugt 1704 and is dated "23 fevrier 1782" in bown, iron gall ink. In pencil, on the verso in an unknown hand: "P. 1224 / Nolan, No 623, N. 38"
