Description
This woodcut is of a boat on the Kennebec River in Maine. This impression is annotated "in memory of the Concho," probably given to a friend to commemorate a trip to the Concho Rive in Texas. Cook was in Texas in 1935/36 working on a WPA mural and returned to Texas regularly after that.
