Though he is primarily known as a Nazi propaganda film-maker, this image of Parcifal (Percival) was done in 1921, before he became associated with the Nazi movement. He had a life long connection to composer Richard Wagner (his mother was an opera singer and his father a music professor). See our biography for further information.
