Description
This lithograph on mylar was printed from a single stone by the artist at Arts and Crafts in Oakland in 1966. The subject is artist Charles Gill. Gerald Gooch brought Gill to a barber near Arts & Crafts and shot a series of photographs of him being shaved. Gooch then did a series of drawings on a litho stone, based on the photographs and printed the lithograph on mylar. He would frame it between 2 pieces of glass and hang a few inches away from a wall so that a shadow would also be cast.
