A rare original print by German born artist Wilfried Podriech, known as Wilfred Satty or just "Satty", who was working in San Francisco in the 1960s and 70s during the heyday of the Haight Ashbury phenomenon. He worked in many mediums but is best known for his surrealist collages in the style of Max Ernst.
Satty uses a number of cut out paper shapes, each inked and placed on a metal or plastic plate, essentially a collage, to create a collagraph monotype. The deatails of the printing are not known at this point.
