Maude M VanAnderson and her husband Lea J. VanAnderson (1884-1964 ) lived in Oswego, Oregon. She cut color woodcuts after his designs which they sold as cards, etc. in the 1930s and 1940s. She was born in Missouri in 1888 but came to California early in the 20th century. Her background is, as yet, not well documented. She died in Portland, Oregon in April of 1980.
