Barbara Olmsted had a life-long fascination with horses. This early, rare state proof was done at Atelier 17 in Paris around 1937 when she and others were experimenting with engraving and soft-ground etching. This scarce impression is stamped with the estate stamp in the lower margin. It was printed in a few proofs only. There are condition issues with the paper, contact the gallery for details.
