Description
A rare early Abstract Expressionist color woodcut by Jacob Kainen, done in 1953. The National Gallery in Washington DC has 2 impressions of the 6 printed. One of these is printed in red, rather than green, the other in green, such as this impression. The green impression was donated by Ruth Cole Kainen in honor of Jacob's 90th birthday.
