Description
This work is a combination of music, poetry and printmaking. At the top of the left sheet is the hand written music, beneath which is a woodcut of a dragon by Norwegian artist Olaf Willums. An accompanying sheet, to the right, has a poem which the music accompanies. It is dedicated "London, 19th of June, 1919 / In memory of C.S. Matulaito." From the collection of Danish critic and author Georg Bröchner, who wrote for the British art magazine "The Studio" in the early 20th century. He has annotated the work in ink: "From Olaf Willums, Oslo."
