This swirling neblua is printed from the surface of the plate rather than the intaglio lines, which print as white. We know almost everything about the impression; the title, the paper, size, date, and the fact that it is an artist's proof (from an unknown edition).
The signature is eluding us, it appears to be "A.D. Larson" or a variation on that, but so far, we have not been able to find any other works by this artist.
