There are various versions of Hegedus's signature with the first name reading "Audor" or "Andor," as well as simply, "A." We also presume that the artist was Hungarian, due to the spelling of their last name. Despite clear talent and a professional knowledge of artistic printmaking, the artist remains unidentified.
