Description
This appears to be a portrait of the Czechoslovakian baron Vincenz Frantisek Josef Danek von Esse, whose family crest reading "D v E" is engraved in the upper right. He was the heir to the Danek & Co. sugar factory fortune and estates. A remarque etched by Max Pollak in the lower left corner of the plate is likely one of the chateaus belonging to the von Esse family.
