Description
A preliminary sketch for the 1949 etching titled "Montgomery Street" (unknown which title is correct). A view of the Cincinnati skyline from hillside neighborhood, including the PNC Bank Tower - then known as the Union Central Trust Building - and Carew Tower. Max Pollak created several images of Cincinnati, Ohio, arguably more than any other midwest town or city that he visited on his travels.
