Description
Herma Prach was an Austrian ballerina who studied at the Vienna Opera Ballet School in the early 1910s and performed throughout Europe during the 1920s. Little else is found on her life and education, though she was noted in Vanity Fair and Theater magazines, deeming her one of Europe's favorite new dancers in 1923. An impression of this piece can be found in the permanent collection of the Mills College Art Museum.
