Description
"Jamnitz" is the German spelling of Jemnice, a town in the Trebic District of the Czech Republic. The historic town plaza and its surrounding architecture is protected as an urban monument zone in accordance with Czech law. Max Pollak shows the square during market day with the monument to the martyred St. John of Nepomuk in the left hlaf of the plate, complete with Nepomuk's biretta and a halo of stars.
