Seen are the Landshuis Complex to the foreground left, which includes the Gothic belfry in the middleground; the City Hall on the right foreground; and the steeple of Saint Walburga in the background. Belknap was living in Belgium on a travelling scholarship from Princeton from 1920 to 1921.
