Despite clear talent, there is very little found on the printmaker Nancy Ruth Swift, nee Spauling, who's extraordinary Abstract Expressionist intaglio "Petrographic" exhibits a keen mastery of the plate. She was married to printmaker Dick Swift and would occasionally exhibit in Long Beach.
