A portrait of the great French actress Madame Marie Dorval by Leon Noel was done for the French publication "L'Artiste", published weekly between 1831 and 1904. This image is reproduced as the example of Noel's work in the 'Dictionnaire de L'Estampe en France 1830-1950' by Janine Bailly-Herzberg, published by Arts et Metiers Graphiques in 1985, page 243.
