Description
The Baumanns sent their "best umbrella" with their New Years greeting card in 1955. The umbrella was shaped from a piece of marbled paper, the very same paper that Baumann used to cover one of his scrapbooks. The artist, L.O. Griffith, received one of these cards and wrote a letter to Baumann in January 1955 with the postscript: P.S. We love your umbrella. We may need one before many moons.
