Description
On Friday, 8 December 1950, The Santa Fe New Mexican reported that Baumann created this woodcut to benefit the Quakers. He offered impressions at five dollars apiece, and the entire proceeds from any sale would benefit the American Friends Service Committee. A smaller version printed in blue-gray was inserted in Baumann's holiday greeting card for 1951.
