Description
Art Hazelwood depicts a slice of the busy Ochanomizu neighborhood of Tokyo with its maze of train tracks, stone-walled canal, and view of Mt. Fuji in the distance. In the foreground are two fashionable young women passing one another on a bridge. Ochanomizu is known as a student town, a hub for the attendees of the over 140 higher education institutions of Tokyo. Ochanomizu has been host to numerous such schools since feudal times.
