A portrait of the jitsuaku kabuki actor Nakamura Nakazo II, recarved and printed for publication in Masterpieces of Ukiyo-e Prints by the Adachi Institute of Woodcut Prints, published by Meji-Shobo, Tokyo. The loose-leaf portfolio contained 24 hand-carved reproduction of popular Japanese color woodcuts of the late 17th through the early 19th centuries.
