Description
Paul Landacre did this woodengraving in 1935 to illustrate John Hodgdon Bradley's 'Farewell Thou Busy World", a collection of seven essays about the loss of the appreciation of nature and beauty, published and printed by Ward Ritchie at Primavera Press, Los Angeles, CA in 1935.
This proof is one of only two known signed impressions of this woodengraving. It comes through inheritance of an old San Francisco family who were friends of the artist.
