As with most of his prints, David Driesbach includes himself in this composition, wearing a top hat and glasses. Only, in this image he has depicted himself twice: once as a patron of a cafe sharing a glass of wine with a fashionable woman; and again as his artist-self in bottom right, sketching the scene.
