Description
When asked about her color screen prints, Frieda responded:
"These works were created with several screens, each carrying a different color. I started with a foundation of Cyanotypes of seaweeds, which I photographed. Then I scanned the photos into Photoshop to make a bitmap image which I could screen print. Then I made additional screens of grapevine tendrils and flowers to give some dimension to the final piece.
"These works result from thoughts about our fragile natural world and the care it deserves and needs."
