Description
Weyhe Gallery, located on Lexington Avenue in New York, was an important promoter of American and Mexican prints in the 20's through the 1940's. Cook, one of their stable of printmakers did this "portrait" of the facade at night for use as the gallery Christmas card for 1929 with the text "Greetings From the Hous of Weyhe" beneath the image. This is a pencil signed proof outside the published edition of around 1000. For more information on Cook, please see our Biography above.
