Description
Assisi is a well-preserved medieval town located in the Umbria region of Italy. It is noted for being the birthplace of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi. In his etching, John Taylor Arms elected to create a street scene with the central focus being the medieval, stone bell tower with a cross atop its triangular sloped roof.
