Description
This drypoint depicts the railroad station in Cornwall Bridge, Connecticut. The Housatonic Railroad was one of the first railroads to exist in the northeast. Cornwall Bridge was the hub of 19th century industrial Cornwall and the village had a hotel and a church, as well as a number of businesses.
