To achieve the filtered, pale light in this image, Landeck paid particular attention to the pull-down blind, using the precise lines of the engraving tool to recreate the look of semi-sheer fabric. While known for his stunning architectural imagery, Landeck was equally adept at intimate interior scenes that capture the beauty of the everyday.
