This is a brilliant, richly inked impression from an early printing within the edition of 125. The foreground is bathed in the bright afternoon sun while a heavy, dark cloud releases a heavy rain shower above the hillside and distant adobes. Afternoon showers are typical weather patterns during southwest summers.
