Description
'Fuji Yama from Yoshida' is the third in a series of 10 woodcuts titled 'Ten Views of Fuji." Yoshida is a town located in the Haibara District, southern Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
This impression is an early posthumous printing done by the Yoshida family and does not have a ji-zuri. These impressions were printed after Hiroshi's death in order to fulfill orders from galleries around the world. A signature block was cut and used and is often mistaken for a pencil signature. There is no loss in printing quality.
