Description

Donald Teague packs a whole story into a small format, 6 x 9". A night scene with a full moon lighting a western town. A sheriff pauses, the moonlight lighting the edge of his badge, as he ponders entering the saloon through the swinging doors, into the light, where trouble waits.

To the left a number of horses are tied to the hitching post, saddled and ready to ride. In a few minutes the peaceful evening may become chaos. A large building casts a night shadow in the foreground, focusing the viewer's attention on the saloon doorway. This could be straight out of Gunsmoke.
